Reactionary Soup

Are you caught in the loop, and stuck in the spiral? Is you back to the wall and your contagion viral?
Beware all the triggers, they swarm as we speak – Fear-sparked questions loom large – “When will it peak?”
We’re pushed and we’re pulled by programming deep – Most cannot think, even fight in their sleep
“The times they are changing”?, now limp in its speak – We’re jacked and we’re shifting as our brains start to leak
“No fear!” screams the mind, “It’s not as it seems!” “Oh yes, I can see it!”, screams reality’s spleen.
Oh what a construct, a dilemma for sure – As consciousness struggles to fight the allure
Pretty weird, I would say. There’s nought for foundation – In an undermined structure with fraught trepidation – Where do we run, just where do we go? In a madhouse afire with escape we don’t know.
Just painting a picture, a story at best – The fact that we get it can lay fears to rest
The entrapment is clear, the funneling clever – But to fall for this nonsense? For me it is never!
No longer a pawn, a leaf bandied about – At the whim of false winds and a whirled in a rout
Just withdraw from the madness, heart well in hand – And laugh at the gaming, as we birth our new land.
